I Need An Alternative To k-alarm

I'm running Kalarm on XFCE and usually it runs without any problem, but
for some reason it stopped working.

This is the second time I've had trouble with it and I am wondering if
there are alarm apps that are similar to Kalarm and will run on XFCE?

If not, can someone help me troubleshoot Kalarm?

I'm not using Kalarm or the ones I mention here; Orage &
XFCE4-timer-plugin, but those have been mentioned in the xfce forum in
response to a qx similar to yours.
