Extensions fail after upgrade.

After upgrading from 22.04 to 24.04 I had no dock. In fact I notice all
extensions were not working, custom and the standard Ubuntu ones for the
standard Ubuntu desktop. In Extension Manager showed all extensions in
their enabled positions, but colored in off or disabled state. I can
toggle each off then back on and the state on color shows and extensions
are working, such as the dock appears. But once the laptop screen blanks
to lock screen, everything is disabled again! No dock, etc.

Anyone else have this happen?

Tracked down the issue to a incompatible legacy extension "Desktop Icons
DING rastersoft.com". The problem was it was locally installed under
the profile. If installed globally it is disabled by the upgrade but if
under the user profile it apparently doesn't and causes the issue.

Just removed ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/'***@rastersoft.com'
dir and now works. Tip for anyone else with extension issues, check your
profile installed ones.
